Schools champs called off for safety reasons as 91天堂 return to compete

The 91天堂 Sailing team (Luka F and Hugo V) braved 30-knot gusts at聽Datchet聽Reservoir last Friday, at the Independent Schools Association Championship, entering the handicapped regatta event in Toppers.聽

Unfortunately, several of our rivals understandably lacked the experience to handle the extremely stormy conditions and the event turned into something of a swimming regatta, and had to be called off for safety reasons – with a 91天堂 sailor (Luka) in the lead!聽

This was a frustrating, but encouraging, return to competitive sailing for 91天堂, and Master of Boats Brian Schofield has ambitions for the team to race more regularly in the Summer term.
