91天堂鈥檚 annual听show jumping听competition returned to the ,听by the kind permission of the Bunn Family,听after听an enforced听break. The event was well supported by local schools听with more听than听40 teams competing.鈥€�听

鈥�听Class one set the tone for the day, with intense competition听and听a听technical course of 65 鈥� 70cm jumps, built by professional track designer, Glen Mac Roberts Smith. The three top teams all finished on a score of zero, with听little听time difference between听them.听It was听Great Walstead听who听claimed victory with all four members听jumping听double clear rounds听in a very quick time of 87.36听seconds. Burgess Hill听Girls and Cottesmore School finished in second and听third,听respectively.鈥€�听

鈥�Class two听provided听new challenges for the riders听with听75 鈥� 80 cm听jumps.听Another fiercely competitive class displaying some talented riders.听Farlington听School听took victory听as.听the only school to complete the competition on zero faults and were 18听seconds clear of the field.听Farlington听also took home the individual honours, courtesy of听Flora R听in a time of 31.02听seconds, closely听followed by Oliver C (Seaford) and Darcey W (Farlington) in second and third. Seaford were runners up听in听the team competition, with听Burgess Hill听Girls听in听third, just听0.13听seconds behind Seaford.鈥€�听

鈥�The most听popular听class of the day was the 85-90cm,听with 20 teams battling it out. Steyning Grammar School鈥檚 team听were听one听of听four听teams who finished on zero faults听and听completed听the course听in a time of 142.2 seconds to finish听in听third place.听91天堂’s Red听team of Lauren W, Harriet B, Freddie L and Antonia W completed in听the course in听118.48听seconds听to take听second place. The winners were Seaford College Blue team听whose riders all听all听jumped double clears to finish听five听seconds ahead of 91天堂 in听113.25听seconds. The individual honours went to听91天堂 in the form of听Lauren听Won My听Time IV听who听stormed听home in a time of 32.25 seconds.听Seaford鈥檚听Emma P and Alice听Completed听the听podium.听

The talent displayed throughout the day was impeccable.听All winning teams and individuals were awarded听the coveted 91天堂 red听rugs听and all participants were awarded with rosettes.听听
